Who knew that rock music could turn into dance music? Listen to original version of the song here, and you'll see the difference. I also love the original for it's grooviness and syncopated claps. This one features The Kooks, another one of my all-time favorite British bands that I'd compare to Arctic Monkeys or Hot Hot Heat.

This "Parade of Lights" version completely deviates from their classic Kooks sound. If you want to explore more of The Kooks, I strongly recommend listening to "Junk of the Heart (Happy)" and "She Moves in Her Own Way," their feel-good songs perfect for carefree, sunny days. Or for more mellow tunes, "Naive," and "Seaside." These four songs are the ones that got me completely hooked.
