I am incredibly excited that Local Natives have returned after their three-year hiatus with "Past Lives."

Their return reminded me of my favorite track from the California-based band, and one of my top songs of all time. "Ceilings" wonderfully captures the dreamy and vulnerable feeling of love – whether or not you've ever experienced that feeling. Even after over probably a thousand listens, this song never fails to give me chills. With just their own voices and their guitars, Local Natives knows how to make you feel sad, nostalgic and warm, all at the same time.
