Skepta's "Back Then"

Whenever I miss London, I listen to Skepta.

While he's largely known in the UK, grime artist and rapper Skepta still isn't a household name in America. But given that Drake signed with Skepta's Boy Better Know label this May, I do sense a collaboration coming soon. Skepta is often credited for bringing the grime genre back into the mainstream in the UK, and I'm excited about the prospect of an underground scene – and thus underground artists – gaining greater recognition.

I recently learned that the violin riff in this track was actually taken from Mike Jones' "Still Tippin'," which is also unsurprisingly a song with a lot of swagger.
