An Atmospheric Take on Coldplay's "Yellow"

My Song of the Week is back! And with an update — more descriptive titles.

Since I learned this weekend that I'll be studying in London(!) next semester, I thought I'd choose a song from one of my favorite London-based producers, Catching Flies. I'm in love with the spacious yet introspective atmospheres he creates in his compositions, which sit between electronic, chillwave, and hip-hop styles.

While we're approaching a rainy week here in DC with exams picking up, I thought I'd provide you with a song that accompanies the moodiness that seems to come with gloomier weather, and one that I find comfort in through stressful times.

This song, "The Stars," samples a song from one of my all-time favorite bands from London: Coldplay. It's a dreamy, more lullaby-like take on their classic "Yellow" that'll make you feel like you're just floating away.
