Hi, I'm Steph

STÉLOMANE is a combination of my name and mélomane ('music lover' in French).

Interviewing Shlohmo in London

I'm a music blogger based in San Francisco who also works in marketing at Dolby Laboratories. I graduated from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in 2017 with a double major in Marketing & Operations and Information Management.

Music has always been a huge part of my life; I feel like I live and breathe it. While I have a background in classical music – playing piano and violin at the Manhattan School of Music precollege throughout elementary and middle school – I have an interest in most genres of music today.

I created STÉLOMANE because of my love of listening to music, discovering new music, sharing it with people, and learning about artists who inspire me. I love staying up to date with what's happening in the music, business, technology, and their intersection. This, along with my passion for writing, led to STÉLOMANE.

After gaining a following on 8tracks between 2012 and 2014, and hearing positive feedback about my playlists, I realized that I want to share my music and my thoughts on music with a larger audience. I love that music is a universal language that connects people from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. Unlike most things, it can be accessed and created by anyone in the world.

To me, music is a constant source of creativity, inspiration and passion. I hope to share that with you through STÉLOMANE.
